Expeditions & Adventure
Choose Your Tailor-Made African Safari Tour
In addition to our dive and safari tours, we offer a limited selection of expeditions and adventures. These include Antarctica Dive trips, Trekking to the Everest Base Camp, Trekking in the Nepal Himalayas and Silk Road Discovery tours. People sometimes ask why we offer such an eclectic mixture of tours, and the answer is quite simple. These are adventure tours that we have been asked to run by existing clients. Having been on the Silk Road holiday or on the Antarctic Tour, different members of our team have fallen in love with each of these adventure tours.
The Silk Road Discovery tour is a simple and affordable way of exploring Uzbekistan, Western China and Kirgizstan. We offer a series of Tailor made Central Asia Tours that are not heavy on the pocket and yet take in the most famous cultural sights of Uzbekistan. The tour takes seven days and includes a domestic flight and your own car and driver. Starting in Tashkent and travelling through the ancient cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and ending in Khiva, this is our favourite. Check out our Uzbekistan pages for more details, or simply send us an email using the form below.
The Nepal Himalaya is one of life’s must-sees and dos. The most famous Trek is the Everest Base Camp Trek, but we feel the Chukung Rii Trek or the three passes Trek is more rewarding. There are three valleys in the Solo Khumbu region, and all are spectacular. Why not start in The Everest Valley, cross the Cho La to the Gokyo Valley, climb Gokyo Rii and then cross the Renjo La and enter the verdant green Thame Valley? All of this can be done in two to three weeks. Descend back down to Namche Bazaar and Lukla for your flight back to Kathmandu. Interested? Read more details on our Himalayan Trekking page, or if you are ready, shoot us an email to book your Himalayan Trekking Holiday now.
