Indonesia

Indonesia has some of the greatest diving on earth. From Raja Ampat in Irian Jaya (west papua) in the east to the thundering currents of Komodo and to the Island dives of Pualu Whe, Indonesia has everything from sharks and manta rays to the tiniest creatures barely visible to the eye. As a basic summary, Manado is the gateway to northern Sulawesi with clear water and steep walls. Raja Ampat has vibrant reefs and fish, and Komodo is packed with just about everything. The only issue with Indonesia is that the nation is immense, and so dive areas are highly seasonal. You need to choose the right destination for you, and you need to choose your diver operator carefully as standards do vary. Obviously, we’d take care of all of that, but it is worth knowing.

Raf Jah first dived in Indonesia in 1994. Since then he and his team, have dived in world-class locations from Sumatra in the west to the most eastern points of West Papua or Iriyan Jaya (Raja Ampat). We revisit our service providers annually and check on the quality of diving and operators. As you can read above, our tailor-made Indonesia dive tours, concentrate on what we have a passion for. But we can arrange anything within the Republic of Indonesia.

Bali

Bali is the most famous island in Indonesia and one of the most popular destinations in South East Asia. Bali is a beautiful island with extremely friendly people. Bali is the perfect combination for a family scuba diving holiday, with loads to do on the surface and a spa for non, or less prolific divers.

Raja Ampat

Just off the coast of west papua (or Iriyan Jaya as it was known) there are a set of four islands called Raja Ampat. The name literally means the four kings. While Papua New Guinea has been well known for diving for decades, Raja Ampat was discovered 20 years ago by Max Ammer who put it on the global dive map. After extensive research, we are proud to present to you our Raja Ampat itinerary.

Komodo Island

A mere 90 minutes East of Bali, around the archipelago of Komodo the Indian and Pacific Oceans merge. The surges of water, strong currents and steep walls make for exciting diving, surrounded by manta rays, sharks and giant schools of fish.

North Sulawesi

With its calm and tranquil diving, clear water and steep walls at Bunaken is a diverse destination. On the north coast of Sulawesi there are black sand muck dives with critters that the mind could not imagine. We love Gangga Island Resort, located on Gangga Island and Siladen Island Resort, surprisingly on the Island of Siladen.
